Yay, my computer is working again!!! It's only been a little more than a month since I've been able to use it and I tell ya...I've forgotten how to type. I've never been particularly fast, but at least I could hold my own and now I seem to be all thumbs. I guess I could just say I'm so talented I'm hitting multiple keys at once, except it's not like shift and "l" it's more like "l" and "k", then delete, delete, delete, and delete, delete, delete again. Ha!
Though it's still winter, spring has sprung around here! My daffodils have bloomed, birds are twittering every morning before any sane person should be up, and the sun shines high in the sky. However, being in the Northwest the rain is inevitable and is surely on it's way again.
It's been the perfect weekend for our church to hold a rummage sale. About a month ago a wonderful lady in our church lost her husband to cancer and it left her almost penniless. We know it's not going to go far but wanted to have this sale to raise money for her and what a success it has been! We're a small church and we haven't had a whole lot like a larger one might but just under $600 was raised for her yesterday! The Lord is so good!
Speaking of spring, many of my friends have had babies here recently so I've had the pitter-patter of little feet on my mind and it got me thinking, with four children I've never really known the pitter-patter of little feet. How can that be? Instead of the pitter-patter of little, we've heard the stomp, stomp, stomp of four little elephants! I don't know if it would make a difference if the house had carpet or not, but the floors are all old hardwood which makes the noise level go up significantly. There's certainly never a dull and quiet moment around here for more than an hour at a time. Oh, how I love my herd!
Blessings to you all!
Jacquie
