I like having oatmeal for breakfast {when I eat breakfast that is}, mostly in the winter because it's warm and I'm always so cold.
However, I've been wondering if it's more like candy than hot cooked oat cereal. I don't like it plain {that should be forbidden}, it's okay with blueberries and milk, but the way I REALLY like it? With butter and brown sugar. YUMMY!
That brings me to the question is it more like candy than healthy cereal?
For about one bowl of oatmeal I add a dash of milk, 2-3 tbls {yes tablespoons} of butter and 2 tablespoons of brown sugar. I figure if I'm going to eat healthy I might as well enjoy it right? But healthy?!?!?!? That is so NOT healthy, but oh boy, it sure tastes good!
So now that I've eaten my breakfast and am warm, I'm ready for my day! I should probably stop off at the treadmill a little later, but we'll see if I make it there...
